City of Lusaka appoints Justin Palmer as General Manager

Woodlands Stadium, Lusaka; City of Lusaka Football Club has appointed Justin Palmer as the Club’s General Manager. Mr Palmer joins the club having previously been the General Manager of Kabwe Warriors in the Zambian Super League. 

Mr Palmer holds a degree in Commercial Law, and a Diploma in Sports Management. His previous experience includes time working with the AC Milan and Juventus youth programs in the Oceania region as a Football Director. 

Mr Palmer’s mandate from the board of City of Lusaka is to achieve footballing success while remaining financially sustainable. The Club has emphasised a focus on professionalism and youth development. 

Comments from Mr Palmer: “City of Lusaka is an integral part of the history of Zambian Football. I am honoured to be leading the Club in this new chapter for City of Lusaka.” 

“We have everything that it takes to complete at the top table of Zambian football, as a Club we must adjust our mentality. With Woodlands Stadium and the financial model in place we must think of trophies and titles as objectives, not dreams. However it begins with detailed planning and professional structures. I encourage the fans to join us on this journey, my door is always open.”
