Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi wants his friend, Kenneth Malitoli to succeed at Woodlands Stadium
NKANA coach Beston Chambeshi has pledged to help City of Lusaka trainer Kenneth ‘Bubble’ Malitoli to succeed at Woodlands Stadium.
Chambeshi and Malitoli are very good friends having played for Nkana in the 1980s.
Malitoli is yet to win a game for City of Lusaka, who are lying 11th on the log with 12 points. Leaders National Assembly have 32 points.
Yamoto have a game in hand against Happy Hearts which will be played on Wednesday at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka.
Malitoli has drawn all the games he has been in charge for the white and black coloured team.
“We will see what happens in June when the league ends. We can easily help City of Lusaka Football Club with some players on lone. To succeed in Division One, sometimes you need experience, you need experienced players, we can recommend some players that can join City of Lusaka,” Chambeshi told www.cityoflusakafc.com.
He said Yamoto is a big team that is supposed to be playing in the Super Division challenging for honours.
And Nkana president Evaristo Kabila is happy that City of Lusaka decided to recruit one of the club’s legends.
“We are happy that City of Lusaka Football Club, which is one of the oldest clubs in Zambia, looked to a former Nkana player in Kenneth Malitoli. You have made a good decision, just give him enough time to come up with his team, we can also help him (Malitoli) with some players but our fear is that when City of Lusaka wins promotion you can beat Nkana in the Super Division,” Kabila, joked
Kabila said City of Lusaka has one of the best sports facilities (Stadium) in the country and that it is supposed to play at the highest level.
“Let Kenneth Malitoli talk to our coach (Beston Chambeshi) about the players. They can discuss as coaches,” he said.
